Things To Do

One of our greatest joys in planning this celebration has been thinking about how to share the place we love with the people we love most. Maryland has given us so much — never-ending nights in Odenton, day trips to the historic streets of Ellicott City, golden afternoons on the Annapolis waterfront, and countless adventures in Baltimore. We hope you'll take some time to explore, and please don't hesitate to reach out for personal recommendations. We truly have many, and we'd love to share them.
Crooked Crab Brewing Company

Crooked Crab Brewing Company

8251 Telegraph Road, Odenton, MD 21113

This is our favorite brewery! We promise we only go here like once a week. Try out Haze for Days if you are into Hazy IPAs like Jaime — and now Zach — are. If you are looking for a bite to eat, they also have amazing brick oven pizzas.

Guinness Open Gate Brewery

Guinness Open Gate Brewery

5001 Washington Boulevard, Arbutus, MD 21227

We might not be getting married in Ireland, but we have our very own Guinness Brewery here in Maryland! Book a tour and try the signature Baltimore Blonde brew, the flagship beer at this location...or just go with a perfectly poured Guinness Draught.

Historic Ellicott City

Historic Ellicott City

3733 Old Columbia Pike, Ellicott City, MD 21043

One of the oldest mill towns in the country, tucked into a scenic river valley with unique shops, cafes, a distillery, a bibliopub, and several other great food spots! The roads are very narrow, so be careful when driving!

Fell's Point Main Street

Fell's Point Main Street

1632 Aliceanna St, Baltimore, MD 21231

A walkable, historic waterfront neighborhood with excellent seafood and drink spots. We recommend Barcocina for some brunch, and The Horse You Came In On Saloon for some casual drinks. FUN (not so fun) FACT: Edgar Allen Poe was found outside of this saloon right before his death. IT'S HISTORIC!

Downtown Annapolis

Downtown Annapolis

Main Street, Annapolis, MD 21401

Walk along the historic streets and waterfront in downtown Annapolis where you'll find cute little shops, and delicious food and drink spots. You can also take a tour of the U.S. Naval Academy. If you are really feeling adventurous, walk across the bridge to Eastport for even more shops and restaurants.

Baltimore Aquarium/Inner Harbor

Baltimore Aquarium/Inner Harbor

Harbor Bridge Walk, Baltimore, MD 21202

Never been here, but we assume they have some really cool fish to look at!
