What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures at the church for around an hour. There is a two hour window between when the ceremony ends and the reception starts. It will take around 30 minutes to drive from the ceremony to the reception, so please plan your drive time accordingly. Since the church is near the beach, we suggest going down to the Seal Beach pier and enjoying the lovely views. Seal Beach's main street leads up to the pier and has quite a few cute beachy shops to browse during the downtime, as well as coffee or tea to keep your energy up for the party!

Is there a dress code?

The dress code for our wedding is cocktail attire.

What will the weather be this time of year?

Answer

The average temperature in the Seal Beach and Orange area is a high of 70 and a low of 48 degrees. We would suggest a jacket for the evening time or for if you want to walk along the beach before or after the ceremony.

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

Answer

Yes! Please check the "Travel" tab for more information. These hotels were picked because they are centrally located between the church and reception venue!

Answer

Yes, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #holmboywedding so we can keep track of all of your pictures!
