We're so excited to celebrate with everyone, FINALLY!!!

We first met in high school, but reconnected at a "Friendsgiving" get together in our hometown of Bakersfield. Alyssa was living in LA at the time and Jacob, in Bakersfield. We talked all night about where we had been and where we wanted to go. We kept in contact for the next few months and after a while Jacob began making frequent trips to visit Alyssa in Santa Monica. Little did we know, one of our mutual best friends was working behind the scenes to make it all happen. Although there was distance, we knew that we had something really special. After many date nights, concerts, and trips to see each other we decided to give this thing a real shot. Alyssa eventually moved back to Bakersfield to pursue a teaching career. Since then, we have created a wonderful life together surrounded by our families, friends, and can't forget our Scoutie girl. After a couple of amazing, extremely busy years we are getting hitched! We can't wait to celebrate with all of you!!!
