Let's Celebrate!

Ours isn’t a traditional story — and honestly, we wouldn’t have it any other way. We met in 2020, in the middle of a chaotic and uncertain time, when the world felt upside down and everything had gone remote — including dating. Somehow, in all that unpredictability, we found something steady in each other. Our first date wasn’t anything fancy, but it was unforgettable. We sat and talked for hours, losing track of time until we realized it was 4 a.m. — which, if you know Megan, is no small feat. By the next morning, we couldn’t stop thinking about it. There was an ease between us, like we’d known each other for much longer — and from that night on, things just naturally fell into place. Working remotely gave us the freedom to travel, and over the next year, we spent time living in different parts of the country — from South Carolina to Colorado (our favorite, hands down). We made the cross-country drive twice, fell in love with the mountains, and built a life full of laughter, long road trips, and, eventually, two dogs: Sadie and Lilo. In 2023, we bought our first home. In June 2024, Matt proposed. And just a few weeks later, life nudged us in a different direction. When Megan’s grandmother entered hospice, we knew we didn’t want to wait. With just a week to plan, we pulled together the most meaningful celebration we could imagine — a backyard wedding at her grandparents’ home, surrounded by family. Thanks to our incredible support system — we pulled it off. It wasn’t the wedding we originally pictured, but it was perfect in every way. Now, we’re so excited to celebrate with you — to mark this next chapter with the people who have loved and supported us through it all.
