Chris and I met our junior year in high school. Thank God for alphabetical order seating! We got to know each other and quickly became best friends. Chris and I took any opportunity we could to see each other when we fist me. Chris would visit me at my locker throughout the day, or walk me to my classes, and I even started going to his footballs games to see him play.  As we got closer and started spending a lot of time together, we met each others families and our friendship turned to young love. Chris took our friendship to the next level and in a very sweet way while together in Disney World, he asked me to be his girlfriend. From then on, we were inseparable. We went to prom together, graduated high school sitting next to each other, and saw each other leave for college. We went down different paths and took time to grow up and mature separate from one another (if you ask Chris, he denies this separation ever happened). Even though our relationship ended, we always stayed in each others lives and eventually developed a new friendship again. After 6 years a part, Chris and I had become good friends again and eventually realized we missed our relationship together. In one year, we bought a place to live together, adopted our sweet Jojo Girl ( who we are completely obsessed with in an unhealthy way), and then GOT ENGAGED!

Chris planned the perfect proposal! The moment it happened, it was just me and Chris, but afterwards he surprised me with all of our friends and family.
