It was March 2016 at a line dancing bar in Sacramento. Let me set the scene for you; country music blasting, beer pong tables with murky water in red solo cups, mechanical bull, and a huge dance floor for line dancing. So obviously at 19 years old, it doesn't get much better than that. Until I looked across the room and saw Boyce. All of the romantic comedies i've ever watched prepared me for this very moment. Just like in those movies, time truly stopped and it felt like I was living in one of them. I immediately knew I would talk to him. Once we started talking, he introduced himself to me. "Hi, I'm Boyce" I repeated it back to him, "Boyce??". Knowing in my head that couldn't be his name because that was my grandfather's name. All in all, what a great ice breaker. We talked the whole night until the bar closed. After texting and about a month of playing hard to get I agreed to have a first date with him at a Stockton Ports baseball game. Here we are almost 6 years later and we cannot wait to celebrate the beginning of our marriage with you all.
