Dylan's Sister - From the Berkshire Hills, to Southern New Hampshire and East Texas; now in the Blue Ridge Mountains - Amelia and her husband Cornelius are active in their community and raise a small army of goats. We are happy to be back home in the Berkshires celebrating our growing family.
Rachel
Bridesmaid
Rachel and the bride were bunkmates at Camp Nokomis when they were 10 years old. Though they didn't quite get along that first summer (Rachel would drop her stuffed animals onto Lizzie's bottom bunk and Lizzie kept a very "maximalist" bunk), they would eventually forge an almost 20 year friendship.
Bianca
Bridesmaid
Bianca met the bride in 2021 in a virtual group project for a statistics class at UC Berkeley while both were pursuing their Masters in Public Health. They bonded over how odd their other group members were, and when COVID restrictions lifted, the friendship and mischief felt natural.
Tenley
Bridesmaid
The bride's first friend at Duke University where they met in 2022 in the Integrated Toxicology and Environmental Health Program. Tenley held many important roles in the Bride and Groom's budding relationship including; having the brides location in case "she goes missing after meeting this tinder guy", outfit consultant for their first and second dates, and telling the groom to "make it official" a few months in.
Robbie
Best Man
Robbie and Dylan met in first grade and have been friends for 23 years. Robbie is the funniest person I know, my closest friend and the worst roommate I’ve ever had. His laugh is infectious, his jokes are in questionable taste, and he makes the best fried chicken this side of the Mississippi.
Josh
Groomsman
Josh and Dylan met when Dylan moved to Durham and quickly became friends. Dylan is always ready to help Josh with his latest DIY home project, mostly for morale purposes or lifting something heavy. Josh, Kevin and Dylan have a standing roadtrip procedure and have a so far spotless record of returning home intact.
Kevin
Groomsman
Kevin and Dylan met shortly after they both moved to Durham, NC in 2017 and have been friends since. Kevin has hung every TV Dylan has ever bought. They have roadtripped together, thrown axes together and have (now) attended each other’s weddings. Kevin, Josh and Dylan talk every day and see each other maybe once a month - just as God intended.
Dan
Groomsman
Dan was Dylan’s roommate freshman year at UMASS Amherst, and they stayed roommates throughout the rest of their time in college. Dan and Dylan worked at the Mullins Center during college, where they had innumerable exciting and mundane adventures; meeting Logic and Kevin Hart; learning how to build basketball courts and most importantly, getting paid next to nothing for the hardest work I’ve ever done.
Joe
Groomsman
Joe, Dan and Dylan were all in the same hallway freshman year at UMASS and were friends all through college. Joe and Dylan became friends moments after they met when Joe offered Dylan a not-cold-enough Coors light. Joe went to Rome for a whole semester completely unaware that Dylan was studying Rome at UMASS and surprised us all by returning skinny, tan and full of European swagger.
