Wedding Day: Black Tie optional! Think elevated garden party with spring colors!! Menswear: tux or suit preferred. Does not have to be black. If you have any fun colored suits feel free to wear! Womenswear: midi-floor length gowns preferred. Note the ceremony & cocktail hour is outside and the grass is turf so heels should be fine! March can be hit or miss with the temperature so if you tend to get cold keep an eye on the temperature and bring a jacket if you see the need to! If there is rain in the forecast we will provide umbrella/ have a rain plan.
Due to this being a destination wedding for most guests we are requiring guests to RSVP earlier than usual. Please RSVP by February 1st 2026. Room blocks also close by February 15th, 2026 so any reservations made after will not be at the discounted rate.
Doors open at 4:00 pm for guest arrival! The ceremony will start promptly at 4:30pm so please be seated by this time. There will be refreshments prior to ceremony for those who arrive early. We understand sometimes things are out of our control but anyone who is not seated by 4:30 pm will be asked to wait outside of the ceremony area until the end.
Maybe. As much as we would love to have everyone in attendance our guest count is strict. We ask that only those who are specifically stated or have a “plus one” section on their invitation RSVP and are in attendance to the wedding. Once RSVPs start coming in if we have availability for you to bring a plus one we will reach out to you personally! Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions!
Unfortunately no. As much as we love all your children we would ask kids not to be brought to the ceremony or reception. A few exceptions have been made for those who are intermediate family which have already been discussed. That being said if you would like to bring your children for the wedding weekend and they are old enough to be alone or you arrange a baby sitter they are more than welcome to join the welcome party and day after events at the beach! Our hopes in doing this is so everyone can be totally present and fully enjoy their evening on the wedding day.
The evening prior on Thursday March 19th we will be hosting a welcome party for drinks and some food. We will be updating our itinerary to time and location of this shortly! The day after on Saturday March 21st we ask whoever is staying in town for the weekend to join us in a casual brunch followed by a beach day! This will take place at the Lumina IHG on the beach! We plan to kick back relax and do some beach games / activities!
Please let us know upon RSVP under the meal selection portion of any food allergies AND contact either Megan Bowser, Lisa Bowser or Ann Stiles personally. This way we are able to make sure the allergy is not missed. We will coordinate with our catering team about all food allergies ahead of time to insure everyone is safe. If you do not include this in your RSVP or let us know ahead of time we will not be able to make any adjustments day of the event.
Yes! There is around 70 on-site parking spots available and will be first come first serve. If you drive to the venue and end up impaired and unable to drive home we ask you leave your car at the venue and either take the shuttle back or call for an Uber or Lyft. We want everyone to have fun but also your safety is more important to us. IMPORTANT: You are allowed to leave your cars on site until the next morning but you must pick your car by 9:00 am that following morning on March 21st. Failure to pick up your car by 9:00 the following morning will result in a fine that the owner of the car will be responsible for paying. This is non-negotiable so please keep that in mind.
Yes! We want everyone to have a safe and fun night so we have arranged a shuttle service for our guests going from Lunima IHG to the venue and back after the reception has ended. The pick up times for the shuttle service will be updated under itinerary. Note if you are not at Lumina IHG hotel or you miss the last time that is listed you will be responsible to arranging your own transportation. There are plenty of Ubers and Lyfts in the area!
We have created room blocks at the Lumina IHG hotel which is located under our travel tab. These room blocks are limited but are at a discounted rate. We will do our best to acquire more rooms in our block as it books up! If you wait and are unable to reserve a hotel room under the room block but would prefer to be where majority of guests are staying just simply look up that hotel on their website and see if they have any more availability. We added some additional hotels in the area that we liked/had good reviews for your convenience but again we only set up room blocks at Lumina IHG. Do not feel pressured to stay at this particular hotel if you find a better deal or something that works better for you personally.
