We’re getting married!

Hi, Kim here, and I am going to tell you a little story about how I met the love of my life! These first few details will seem irrelevant but they matter! March 2019 My friend Giulio invited me on a trip to Chicago. I sat next to a girl named Beth. I turned to her and said, "Hey, I do not know you but I am going to sit next to you for 12 hours." Beth and I became friends that day! January 2020 Our two friends, Beth and Giulio, started dating. I have known Giulio for what feels like forever. But really has only been 12 years. Zachary has also known Beth for 10+ years. They decided we should set up our friends. Little did I know that they are terrible at planning... So, after many attempts, the day finally came. February 9th, 2020 We met on a blind date. I was very nervous. Zachary was very kind and patient. He made me laugh and feel safe. We played skeeball and he was the perfect gentleman. We then went over and got ice cream and discussed how creepy I found the Kansas City Chief's mascot. After the date, Zachary messaged me on Facebook and asked me if I would like to go out again. I said yes, of course! March 2020-February 2021 The last year was filled with: -many ice cream trips -even more, Dunkin' trips. -Zachary making me laugh a million times. -Zachary meeting all my favorite people. Including my 9th grade girls who I mentor at church who clapped when they met him. - Of course, me meeting his favorite people. -Watching a few Eagles games with Zachary and my dad. Go birds? - A lot of car rides listening to Taylor Swift. - A lot of him telling me fun facts, which I secretly love, shhh, don't tell him. -Getting to be the Maid of Honor in my sister Nicole's and Justin's wedding and having Zachary as the best plus one ever! -Most importantly falling in love!

February 14th, 2021 Zachary told me to meet him at his apartment at 2 pm. He surprised me with my best friend Brittany. Then we went on a ride to all the significant places in our relationship. Taking pictures at each place! Then we got to the Reading Pagoda and he proposed with my Grandma's ring overlooking the city! It was beautiful and everything I ever wanted in a proposal!
