Yep you read it right! They met on Instagram, in direct messaging. Don would randomly send messages to Brandi complimenting her beauty and class. It took a while for Brandi to respond, but months later she finally did. She took Don up on a invitation to join him at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse where he was being honored by Hennessy for his wonderful Chef work. June 24, 2017 was the date the two officially met. On June 28th, 4 days later was their official first date. Don was very persistent and made sure he didn't miss a day without contacting Brandi. He admits it was love at first sight!

When Brandi and Don were thinking about where to get married they only knew 2 things: 1) They were marrying each other, and 2) It had to be creative, like them. When Hurricane Harvey hit Houston they were on vacation in Cuba for Don's birthday celebration and his annual Culinary Experience trip. On the way back home they found themselves stuck in Miami due to airports being closed. The two had tossed around wedding venues prior to travelling and a dealership was one of the options. Don realized Kevin, the head of Diversity for BMW was also in Miami. Don had been given the honor of being one of the Executive Chef 's for BMW Diversity in 2017. So everyone met up one night and God poured out favor! While enjoying the evening Brandi asked Kevin flat out, "Do you think we can get married at The West Houston BMW Dealership?" She closed her eyes and said a quick prayer. Kevin replied, "Are you serious? At the dealership? Wouldn't that be to casual?" Brandi said, "Nope, it would be different!" Long story short Kevin contacted the General Manager, Maria and the wheels were in motion! (Lol. Get it?) What Kevin or Don didn't know at the time, is they were fulfilling a dream of Brandi's from years ago. We can't tell you what that dream is because it will be fulfilled on wedding day! Shortly after receiving the green light on the venue, Brandi created the theme 'Bowie's Magical Wedding' = BMW. Isn't God so good! It was meant to be! BMW West is the newest dealership for the brand in Houston. The General Manager, Maria and Nikki, the event coordinator for the dealership are truly earth angels! They both have hearts of gold and diamonds!! This would also be a great day to check out the vehicles and buy one!!! Brandi and Don are truly living a magical love story and they are extremely excited to share this night with family and friends. They are grateful for the love, encouragement and support you all have shown. They can't wait to drive off into the night as The Bowie's!!
