I know they say "when you know, you know." But sometimes, It takes a while, and sometimes love finds you where you least expect it. Matt and I met at church 3 years ago and became friends, but the more time we spent together, the more our friendship grew. Our beginnings were simple enough, and though neither one of us knew at the time, seemingly everyone else later told us they were convinced we would fall madly in love and get married. Turns out, they were right. Both of us argued that we were just friends for months, though our feelings for each other grew into something special. Our love was not a whirlwind love that catches you completely off guard. It was a slow burning love like embers that you kindle into a strong fire. We are best friends who found in each other a partner for life. As the years go by, we will continue building our relationship together, making it even stronger.
