Our first date was one neither of us *quite* remember, but one we will never forget. It began as an homage to a city Lauren had just moved from and job that Mike once held dear - Old Chicago. Through a hazy amount of pizza and beer, we laughed the entire night and bonded over a surprising amount of shared experiences that had led us together that evening. When we faced the notorious "are we exclusive" conversation a few weeks later, Lauren made sure Mike knew what he was in for. He proved to be up for the challenge as we began to navigate camping trips, job changes, music festivals, family dinners, more job changes, and multiple renovations - anyone who knows Lauren knows she is in a constant state of renovating. Needless to say there's been a ton of adventures throughout the past year and a half! We found out about our growing family in early spring, somewhere between job interviews and home projects - a special kind of chaos we don't recommend to anyone! Layla was ecstatic to know that not only were we giving her a backyard, but that she'd be a big sister soon enough. Fast forward a few months and we couldn't be happier to share a last name, create a new home in Monument, and feel our ever-restlessly kicking baby boy (aka Baby Bowzer). It has certainly taken a village of support from our colleagues, friends, and families to get here, we could not be more grateful for you in our lives. To those near and far, thank you for being a part of our journey's. Thank you for your love and support and guidance. Thank you for celebrating us and being a part of this new chapter in our lives. Cheers!
