Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our wedding will be a Black Tie Optional affair! We ask men to wear a tuxedo or a formal suit and tie, and women to wear an evening gown or a midi-length formal dress. We can't wait to see everyone looking their best!

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

We will be organizing Welcome Drinks at Harbor Lights the night before the wedding to greet our guests joining us on Friday evening, all are welcome to stop by! Additionally, there will be an after party at the Loom Hotel following the wedding reception. Details on locations will be highlighted on the Schedule tab for your reference.

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Yes! Shuttles will begin leaving the LOOM hotel at 3:00PM with the final shuttle leaving at 3:50PM. Please note, there are plenty of seats but final shuttle departures may be limited in capacity so early shuttle service is encouraged! We ask that any guests staying at alternate locations pick up shuttles from the listed hotels, or arrange for their own transportation. Ubers are widely available in the area, and parking will be available at Aldrich Mansion for those planning to drive.

We are so glad you asked! If you are preparing for the wedding weekend, check out the movie “Meet Joe Black” starring Brad Pitt and Anthony Hopkins. The movie was filmed at our venue!

How do I get from the ceremony to the reception?

Answer

Great news, the reception is attached to the chapel where the ceremony will be held and begins directly after, so you will not need to make any transportation arrangements in between!

Which hotel should I book?

Answer

There are several options for hotels in the area around Warwick. We have 2 room blocks highlighted in the "Travel" tab we recommend looking at first. The Loom Hotel is where the bridal party will be staying, and where the after party on Saturday night following the reception will take place. The Loom does not have a minimum night stay requirement, but they only offer rooms with a 1 King Bed layout. There will be shuttle service to and from the ceremony and reception from this location. The Crowne Plaza hotel is a 5 minute drive from The Loom Hotel for the after party, and will also have shuttle service to and from the wedding ceremony and reception. This hotel offers both 1 King Bed and 2 Queen Bed layouts. There are various other hotel options in Warwick, RI near the wedding venue that guests are more than welcome to book. We would just note that shuttle service will not be available at these other locations, but Ubers are widely available to ensure quick and safe transport back and forth from all festivities!
