FAQs

Question

What is the San Diego Archaeology Center?

Answer

The San Diego Archaeological Center is a curation facility and museum where visitors can learn the story of how people have lived in San Diego County for the past 10,000 years. Jason and I love history and science and this venue so perfectly reflects our passions! To support this small academic establishment, we plan on hosting a "Donation Dance" to support the center in their efforts to preserve the past! If you would like to help this organization bring some cash with you to the reception and "pay" for a dance with the bride or groom! All money will be donated to the San Diego Archaeology Center!

Question

Is there transportation to and from events?

Answer

There is no pre-planned transportation. Please plan transportation to all events. Carpooling and ride-share are recommended for ease and safety if drinking. If you are staying at The Villa we will be trying to carpool to and from the Wedding.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire - We want everyone to look great but more important feel great! bring your dancing shoes and maybe hang up the stilettos. The venue is outside and thin heels may not be the best! It will be warm, but hopefully not too hot since it will be November. However, since we live in sunny San Diego, plan on some heat and maybe something for the chilly night.

Question

Is there a break between the Ceremony and Reception?

Answer

No, We plan on having a short and sweet ceremony and then rolling right into the reception!
