We recommend flying into either Aspen (ASE) or Eagle/Vail (EGE).
Aspen is about 40 minutes from Carbondale and Eagle is just under 1 hour.
**Each airport has private shuttle services (pricy) and rental cars available. An Uber/Lyft from either of these to Carbondale will likely be over $100.

Transportation
If you are planning to explore the area (maybe go for a hike or visit Aspen?), we highly recommend renting a car for your stay. The number of Ubers and Lyfts has increased in the last few years, but they are still rather limited, so keep that in mind :)
