Zachary and I met at one of our favorite bars in Mankato, when we were both traveling for work. After that we just couldn’t get enough of each other, even though it was long distance at first!

Zac proposed to me last August when we were on a road trip to the beaches in the Carolinas. We drove for two days straight, and then finally got to Myrtle Beach and is was past dinner so we found a Mexican restaurant on the beach! After we ate, we went down to the water with our margaritas to enjoy the peacefulness of the ocean. As we were about to sit down, Zac unfurled the towel and got down on one knee. I know, you'd think I would have bawled immediately, but I was truly in SHOCK. I was not expecting it, as the vacation was planned very last minute. I remember hugging him and just asking if it was all real! We are very excited to spend the rest of our lives together!
