When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by November 8, 2019, using the RSVP card that came in the mail along with the invitation.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

The Hilton - Downtown Richmond, does have complimentary transportation within a mile radius of the hotel. Please know that Second Presbyterian Church is located two city blocks from the hotel and is in walking distance if the weather permits.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, parking is available for both. Please see the "Schedule" section of our website for more information.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4 o'clock pm. It is suggested that you arrive at least 15 to 20 minutes prior to accommodate parking and walking to location if needed. *Please note that once the wedding procession has begun, entry into the church will not be permitted.

Are the ceremony and reception locations wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Yes, both locations are wheelchair accessible. Please contact us to let us know that accommodations are needed so we may plan accordingly.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Although we love children, we will be having an adults-only ceremony and reception. The only children attending are those who are part of our wedding party. We thank you for your understanding.

Are cell phones and cameras permitted to be used during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly request that everyone stays "unplugged" during the ceremony. Please turn off or silence your phone and do not take pictures or videos during the ceremony. We have hired both a phenomenal photographer and a videographer to capture all of the wonderful memories. We promise that we will share the pictures and videos with everyone once we receive them.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the bridal party and immediate family members will be taking pictures. Guests may make their way to the Science Museum of Virginia - Dewey Gottwald Center where festivities will begin at 5:30 pm with a Cocktail Hour.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please indicate any food allergy or dietary restriction on your RSVP card and return it to us no later than the deadline date. We will do our best to accommodate your need and may contact you if we need additional information or to address any concerns.

Can I take and post pictures of the Cocktail Hour and Reception on social media?

Answer

YES, YES, YES!!!! We encourage guests to post pictures on their social media channels! Our only request is that you tag each posted photo to our registered wedding hashtag #TurboCaughtAMouse, so we can keep track of all the pictures to enjoy once things calm down :)
