As of right now, the wedding is going on as planned. We are working with our vendors to make sure the day is safe and beautiful. Our venue is subject to local health regulations for social gatherings, so we ask for your understanding should our plans need to change. We also want you to know that if for any reason you cannot attend our wedding we understand. Our top priority is making sure people feel safe at our celebration. If you are unwell in the days before the wedding, we ask that you stay home to keep the rest of our guests safe. If you cannot attend, please hold us in your hearts as we take our vows to each other. This is not how we envisioned entering married life, but we are doing so with an even greater appreciation of life and love.
The location of the ceremony has changed to St. Nicholas Orthodox Church, due to ongoing renovations at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral. The time of the ceremony and location of the reception have not been changed!
Local guidelines currently require masks be worn while indoors at the church and reception site. Our reception will be fully outdoors, and masks will not be required. We request that our guests follow CDC guidelines regarding masks during our celebration.
Absolutely! Guests who are unable to attend the church ceremony are welcome to join us for an open air, outdoor reception of dinner and dancing at The Reserve beginning at 5PM. Please indicate on your RSVP that you will be attending the reception, so we know to expect you!
Our ceremony will be celebrated in the traditional Orthodox Christian sacrament of marriage at St. Nicholas Orthodox Church. It is traditional for most of the ceremony to take place with the congregation standing, so please keep this in mind if you plan to wear heels to our celebration.
