It all started in the Garage Door bar in Pittsburgh on a cold Friday in December of 2016. Michael and Caroline met among mutual friends at the bar on Pitt’s campus (after somehow never meeting during their 4 undergraduate years). After talking all night, Michael asked for Caroline’s number, much to her surprise. That night, Mike politely texted Caroline to make sure she made it home from the bar and the rest was history. Caroline and Mike continued to text through the month of December while home on Christmas break. Once they returned to Pittsburgh, Mike organized their first true date. Although Caroline failed during the unplanned trivia night, Mike asked her out for a second date. He continued to ask Caroline on dates until February 15th, 2017 when Mike asked Caroline to officially be his girlfriend. She of course said yes! They eventually moved in together in Pittsburgh and adopted their cat, Mae. In July of 2022, Caroline and Mike decided to move across the state and closer to family and settled in Ardmore PA. Caroline and Mike celebrated 6 years of meeting in December of 2022. And finally on December 26th 2022, Michael proposed at Longwood gardens and Caroline said YES! They have been hard at work wedding planning but found the time to buy their first house together in Broomall PA and moved in this summer. They can’t wait to celebrate their special day with all of their friends and family🤍
