Love is Love

We met in the only way that "baby gays" put themselves out there in 2020... Hinge. Sarah's profile was decked out in pictures of all of her recent travels to Arizona, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Florida, and more... but the thing that caught Michelle's eye was on the question that asked about her favorite sports team, Sarah's response was "Huge Chicago Sports fan". Naturally, Michelle's interests were peaked... with Sarah's clear love of traveling and now an interest in not only Michelle's favorite city...but potentially her favorite sports teams as well!!! The stage had been set with both of them "matching" based on looks alone.... the only question left was a make-or-break question that any true Chicago sports fan would have an answer to. Michelle messaged with only one line "Chicago sports... the real question is Cubs or Sox??". Without hesitation, Sarah's 3-dots of a typing ellipses lit up and 2 seconds later Michelle had her answer "CUBS! NO QUESTION". That was the only sign we needed to schedule our first date. Who knew that it would be the last first date we had... not only before the world shut down with a Global Pandemic... but the last first date we'd ever have with anyone else for the rest of our lives!
