Maid of Honor
Taeja and I have known each other since elementary school. We attended the same High School, and we've pretty much always played sports together. During High School, I felt we had gotten the closest. Being on the same team and playing the same position in basketball (the sport we shared a love for), we were bound to grow closer than ever. I had never met anyone who could make me laugh so much to the point where it hurt to breathe. There are so many details of memories that Taeja and I share together that I cannot share with just anyone. She is almost sacred to me and really is my ignited twin flame. She's encouraged and hyped me up all the way from the basketball court to the aisle. I love her to pieces, and that is why I feel she is incredibly deserving of being my Maid of Honor.
Matron of Honor
Brittany is Noah’s beautiful older sister. It’s been such a privilege to get to know Brittany, and she has pretty much welcomed me with open arms since the moment I met her. It’s refreshing to see someone do exactly what they were meant to do in this lifetime. It’s as plain as day that Brittany was meant to be a mother and a wife. She is a lover of Jesus and is a woman who knows exactly what she wants, and is very firm in her beliefs and in her faith. I look up to Brittany exponentially and Noah and I could not be happier to give her the title of Matron of Honor. She deserves it like no other. We love you!
Bridesmaid
Angel is exactly how she sounds. She was definitely an angel sent to me. I met her through Rachel one summer, and we clicked instantly. She was an outlet for laughter and fun. Once I started cosmetology school in Dublin, I was so nervous to be in a room full of new faces, but luckily Angel was attending the same school at the same time. We had lunch together pretty much every day and adapted a sister-like relationship like clockwork. Angel is also a strong mother to sweet Emersyn. In a lot of ways, it's like having a front row seat at seeing my mom and I when I was a baby. She is fierce and protective in her motherly instincts and in her love. She is one of my most treasured friends, my third wheel, and I cannot imagine her not by mine & Noah's sides.
Bridesmaid
Lydia came into my life just a few short years ago. She is my little brother (Christian)'s girlfriend, and she quickly became like a little sister to me. We share so, so many of the same qualities. She has such a big heart and is one of the most compassionate women I know. I remember when she and Christian first started dating, and Christian told me it would be weird if I had gotten close to his girlfriend and to keep my distance (which obviously did not happen). She has such a warmness to her that people can't help but to gravitate towards her sweet soul. It has truly been a privilege to know Lydia and to have her in my life. I couldn't have imagined her not being by my side on my wedding day. I'm so glad she accepted the role of being my bridesmaid.
Bridesmaid
Payton and I met in High School while playing softball together. I instantly admired her and her big personality. We shared the same sense of humor, and soon she felt like a big sister to me. I’m pretty sure at one point in High School people called me “PK jr.” which we laughed at, and actually kind of liked. Payton is unapologetically herself which is one of the things I love most about her. Even though I moved away from home, she has not wavered in her support for me and has still made it a priority of hers to show up. She is creative and cares so deeply about the people she loves. I am touched that she accepted the duty of being my bridesmaid, and I’m so lucky to know her.
Bridesmaid
Rachel and I are related through my mom’s side of the family. We come from a long line of strong and fluorescent women. Depending on who you ask; we could be cousins, sisters, best friends, all of the above. Living in different states, Rachel and I weren’t always as close as we are now. We finally had started talking every day once we were both in High School. Once I finally moved to Georgia we were basically joined at the hip. If anyone ever asked where I was at, the answer was “with Rachel”. Rachel has introduced me to so many new things, she has uplifted me even in the hardest times and has always been in my corner. I adore her so much, and I’m so proud that she’s one of my bridesmaids.
Best Man
I chose my dad to be my Best man because- you guessed it. He's been there since day one. Growing up, my dad always pushed me and told me I could do whatever I set my mind to. He always believed in me. He gave me the passion and courage that I needed to get through whatever I needed to get through. Watching baseball and football together, and playing so many hours of golf are some of my favorite memories I have with him. He helped me to become the man I am today. He's been the perfect example of how to be a good husband and an excellent father. He's truly taught me everything that I know.
Groomsman
Jonathan is my brother in law, we met when I was I’d say around 8 years old when he first started dating my sister. Me and Jonathan have always been pretty close whether it was hanging out with my sister and him when I was little to him taking me deer hunting and even taking me duck hunting for the first time. Every time we’re together there’s never a dull moment. One of us is gonna be laughing or telling jokes and cutting up. He is truly a good and Godly brother in law and I’m so glad my sister married him! I know that no matter what, why, when, or how- he would help anyone if he could.
Groomsman
Christian is Hunter’s little brother. Chris is one of the toughest guys I know. He’s been through so much and has still shown up and been a good man and a good person to everyone around him. I appreciate him for the way he’s taken care of Hunter and I know Hunter loves him so much and thinks the world of him. From the things Hunter has told me from their childhood, they were always there for one another, and it’s so clear to me that he deserves to be a part of mine and his sister’s big day. He’s a God-fearing young man and he’s been an outlet for laughter and fun. We love you bud!
Groomsman
The first time I met Bradley was at church. We were putting up a basketball goal with the men's group on a Wednesday night. The first time we hung-out we went to a Georgia football game, and we've been the closest of friends ever since. We really just clicked and at one point in time I basically lived with him and his wife, Lynley. He's been such a great role model to me, and I know he would drop anything if I needed his help- that's just the kind of person Bradley is. He always has my back. I'm so appreciative for all that he has done for me.
Groomsman
Triston and I have known each other since we were in diapers. When we were little our dads played on a softball team in Macon, so we were always at the games together. We grew up right next door to each other, and it was pretty hard to separate us. After school we spent hours playing video games and having air-soft wars. His family became like mine and vise versa. I've known him the longest out of all of my friends. We were always an inseparable duo and I'm so glad to have him by my side as my groomsman.
Groomsman
I first met Caleb at church. He and a few other guys had invited me to play basketball with them afterwards. We weren't the closest at first, being boys and riling each other up playing on the court we butted heads quite a lot (literally). Overtime we grew super close. He became like a brother to me. When Caleb enlisted in the National Guard to serve our country I was incredibly proud of him. However, when he was deployed it was a really hard adjustment from being together everyday to only when we got a spare moment to catch up on the phone. I wouldn't be who I am today if I didn't know Caleb.
Flower Girl
Little miss Emersyn is the daughter of Angel Hudson. I remember Angel telling me the news when she found out, and being in school with Angel while she was carrying Emersyn. This little girl is just like her mama and is full of sass and sweet smiles. We’re overjoyed that Emersyn will be one of our flower girls and we love her so, so much!
Flower Girl
Aubrey is Noah’s niece. This girl lets Jesus shine through her. She is a very strong and special girl, truly. It is so rare for someone so young to be so open and honest about the things that they love and Aubrey is nothing shy of passionate. We are over the moon excited to have her as our flower girl and we know she will make us proud from now until forever. We love you Aubrey!
Officiant
Rob is my oldest first cousin on my mother’s side of the family. We love Rob, he’s always bringing laughter and jokes whereever he’s at. I remember we went on a family vacation to the mountains, and my cousin Harrison and I had these little wooden pop guns. Well Rob and my brother Brandon would throw little rocks and pebbles at the doors and windows making us think that there was a bear out there somewhere, and it’s always been one of my favorite memories with him. It means so much to me and Hunter to have someone so close to us to officiate our wedding!
Ring Bearer
Branson is my nephew. I remember when my sister was pregnant with him and they told me I was gonna get a nephew. I was so excited when I heard the news. I’ve watched him grow up and mature into a God loving and very respectful young man. I’m glad I could be there for him growing up. I love him to death and would do anything for him. I remember from the first day he was born to him just turning 15 and getting his first truck and learning how to drive.
Mother of the Groom
My mom is the strongest woman I know. Not everything has been easy for her, but she’s still been there for me and for my sister as well. We never doubted her love and adoration for us. She’s instilled such core values in me and she means the world to me. Watching her and my dad throughout their lives lets me know that Hunter and I can make it through anything with one another. She’s raised me to be a good man and to be a follower of Jesus. I would do anything for my mom and I know she’d do anything for me in a heartbeat. I can’t tell her thank you enough for everything she’s done for me, and for Hunter too. Everything she does she does it with love. I couldn’t imagine my life without her and she holds a special place in my heart.
Mother of the Bride
My mom is my best friend and my role model. There isn't enough space in this excerpt box for me to tell you all of the ways she's gone above and beyond for me. From the way she carries herself, the kind of mother she is, and the way her heart beats for Jesus. The amount of love I have for my mom overwhelms me to tears. I remember one time one of my friends had told me my mom had hugged them, and they felt like everything was right in the world because of how comforting she was. That should tell you in a nutshell the kind of woman my mom is. She is selfless, with a pure heart. She has guided me on my path with Jesus, and that is one of the things I am most grateful for. I can't thank her enough for all that she has done for me and the way she has devoted herself to raising my brother and I. I love you so much and I hope you dance, Mama.
