Both Texans by birth, the couple’s story begins as a tale as old as digital time…on Bumble. After their casual conversation led to exchanging numbers, they set a day for their first date which took place on Saturday, November 18, 2023 in Zilker Park. “Our initial text conversations were so chaotically funny that I knew the date would either lead to a second or an incredibly entertaining story for my friends.” -Audrey "I was already wondering what type of diamond cut she would prefer....30 minutes in." -Sterling Audrey and Sterling discovered their mutual devotion to faith, a fun rivalry due to their alma maters (Audrey, a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin and Sterling, a graduate of Texas A&M University), and a passion for travel. The next morning, Audrey was getting ready for mass when she received a text from Sterling asking if he could attend mass with her. "It was quickly apparent that her faith was a core aspect of her identity, and sharing that experience with her seemed fundamentally important. In January 2025, Sterling asked Audrey’s family for their blessing to marry.
