The ceremony begins at 6:00pm, so we ask that you arrive between 5:15-5:45pm to ensure a prompt start to the evening.
June in San Diego can be warm, but is not typically very hot. “June Gloom” can present cooler temperatures especially in the evenings, so consider bringing an added layer for warmth.
The ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outside, but the remainder of the evening will be indoors with a large patio available for fresh air throughout the evening.
The dress code is California Formal. While we’d love the formality of the event to be reflected, we also encourage you to have fun with colors, patterns, and most of all to be comfortable. If a recommendation would be helpful, please see below. Men - We recommend a suit that you will be comfortable in both warm and cooler weather. Ties are optional, sport coats and blazers are acceptable. Women - We recommend knee to floor length formal summer dresses or jumpsuits. You may also want to bring a wrap or sweater, as the coastal breeze can bring a chill!

There are two great resorts right across the street from The Crossings which you can find on the "Travel" tab of this website. There are also plenty of hotel or AirBnB/VRBO options nearby in the Carlsbad Village or surrounding areas. We recommend that you book sooner than later, as Carlsbad is a popular destination in the summer months.
Transportation will not be provided, so please plan accordingly whether that is driving yourself or using ridesharing apps.
Please refer to your invite as it will denote whether you have a plus one.
While we truly love your little ones, we kindly ask that they stay at home for the evening.
