I am beyond grateful that God led me to this man. I first "officially" met him in the cafeteria at Weimar University, where his mom and I were telling him an inside joke we had just created at work that day. What a silly first impression! In getting to know him more and more, I have never met someone so capable, so thoughtful, so loyal, so genuine, so inspiring, so whole-heartedly loving, so … I could go on and on, but this bio would be too long! Suffice it to say, I feel very blessed to be able to marry him. His sincere love is truly one-of-a-kind. If you haven’t met Jonathan yet, he is the most unforgettable person you’ll meet, guaranteed. We're so excited to share this special day with you all! - Emily

From the time Jonathan could walk, he wanted to follow in his big brother’s footsteps—literally. One of Jonathan’s earliest memories is exploring the forest together and intentionally stepping wherever Chris stepped. Through the years, Chris has been a pillow to sleep on, the motor for Jonathan’s wagons, someone to talk with about anything, and a loving, protective, patient brother who always has Jonathan’s back. Fun fact: When Chris is not writing computer code as a software engineer in Southern California, he spends his time curating an impressive list of the best spots to eat around L.A.
