Hotel/Room Block Information

We have reserved hotel blocks for our out of town guests at both The Umstead Hotel & Spa (the site of our ceremony & reception) as well as The Embassy Suites located directly across the street from our venue. Directions on how to book either hotel are listed in each section below. PLEASE NOTE: We did our best to estimate the amount of guests interested in room blocks, however, the majority of our attendees will be visiting from out of town. We HIGHLY suggest calling as soon as possible to reserve a room as it is a first-come, first-served basis. Both hotels have informed us that they are expecting to be fully booked for the weekend. After 10/8/21 (2 weeks prior), any remaining unbooked block rooms will be released to the general public for booking at which point we will be unable to secure a room in our block for you. Again, we encourage you to book early to make sure you secure a room and a deep discount!

Our group rate starts at $289.00 excluding tax per night (regular rates begin at $529.00 per night) so be sure to book soon and take advantage of the steep discount. Located directly across the street from The Umstead (a short walk), this hotel has been newly remodeled and features all suite rooms that guests can share. Enjoy complementary breakfast every morning and evening meals which are automatically included in the price. Our rates start at $169.00 per night excluding tax (regular rates are typically around $260.00 per night).
