When and where is the wedding?

Answer

We're delighted to share that our wedding will take place on Saturday, July 24th, 2027 in Bloomington, Indiana. The ceremony will be held at the Rosewell House, with our cocktail hour and reception to follow at the Indiana Memorial Union (IMU).

Question

Where is the Rosewell House?

Answer

Our ceremony will take place at Rosewell House, an iconic Indiana University landmark situated just steps from the Indiana Memorial Union. You can easily find it on Google Maps.

Question

What will the ceremony be like?

Answer

Our ceremony celebrates this joyful milestone with all of you, so we absolutely welcome your enthusiastic cheers as we make our way down the aisle.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

Absolutely! We'd love for you to capture the moment and share it on social media.

Question

What happens if it rains?

Answer

Rain is considered good luck for couples on their wedding day, and we're prepared to celebrate beautifully no matter the weather. We kindly ask that you bring an umbrella if rain is in the forecast, so everyone can stay comfortable and enjoy the festivities.

Question

What is the schedule of events?

Answer

• Friday, July 23rd: Welcome party — come kick off the weekend with us! • Saturday, July 24th: Ceremony at the Rosewell House, followed by cocktail hour and reception at the Indiana Memorial Union

Question

How do I get to Bloomington, Indiana?

Answer

The closest major airport is Indianapolis International Airport (IND), about an hour from Bloomington. From there, you have two easy options: • Shuttle: Take the Indianapolis–Bloomington shuttle (services like GO Express run regularly) • Rental car: Pick up a rental at the airport

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

We highly recommend staying at the IU Biddle Hotel, conveniently located within the Indiana Memorial Union. You'll enjoy the luxury of walking directly from your room to both the ceremony and reception—making it the ideal choice for our wedding day. Rooms are typically $200 per night for two queen beds, so we suggest booking early to secure your stay.

Question

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

The IU Biddle Hotel is conveniently located near both our ceremony and reception venues, so shuttle service won't be necessary. Our welcome party the evening before is still being finalized, but it will be at most a 14-minute walk through downtown—easily accessible for all our guests.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, we have several convenient parking options for you. The Indiana Memorial Union features its own on-site parking lot for guests, and street parking is readily available along Kirkwood Avenue and the surrounding streets.

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

We absolutely adore your little ones! We've decided to keep our celebration adults-only so that everyone can fully relax and enjoy the weekend together. We hope this gives you a wonderful opportunity for a little getaway as well!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We've carefully curated our guest list, and each invitation will clearly indicate whether a plus-one is included for you. If a guest is listed on your invitation, we'd be delighted to have them celebrate with us. Should you have any questions about your invitation, please don't hesitate to reach out to Emily.

Question

What about food and dietary restrictions?

Answer

Dinner will be served at the reception with a vegetarian option available. When you RSVP, please let us know about any allergies or dietary restrictions, and we'll be happy to accommodate you.
