This makes renting a car necessary only if you plan to explore the Island outside of the resort.

The Hilton is nearby the Omni Resort, but will not have access to the Omni resort non-wedding activities (e.g., pool, beach.) Guests choosing to stay outside of the Omni Resort are encouraged to rent a car, as Ubers are not prevalent on the Island.

Flight
Jacksonville airport is the closest and most convenient airport. It's about a 30 min drive from the airport out to the island.
