Dress Code/FAQ

Question

Dress Code

Answer

The dress code is festive semi-formal. Examples: dresses, jumpsuits, khakis or suit, comfortable shoes, bring a jacket! IMPORTANT NOTES: - The weather will be spring-like and the ceremony will be windy (highs around 65 and cooler at night!) - Please bring a jacket or other warm layer, even for the wedding itself. We will be outside! - The ceremony is in a natural location with uneven ground, and guests will be standing so please wear comfortable shoes.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes, your kids are invited! You should see them listed when you RSVP, but please let us know if you don't see that option or have any questions about bringing them.

Question

Can I drive myself to the wedding?

Answer

Yes! If you prefer to drive yourself, please park in the main Cabrillo National Monument lot and walk to the event bluff for the ceremony. As you walk toward the lighthouse from the parking lot go around to the right. The event bluff is on the cliffs to the right/behind the lighthouse. Question

Do I need to rent a car?

Answer

No! Uber/Lyft can get you anywhere you need to go. Both hotels are within walking distance to coffee and restaurants. Friday's welcome party is either a short walk (from El Cordova) or a short Uber/Lyft ride (from the Courtyard Marriott). For the ceremony on Saturday, a shuttle will stop at both event-recommended hotels: 2:30pm - Pickup at El Cordova Hotel 3:00pm - Pickup at Courtyard Marriott After the ceremony, the shuttle will take guests to the reception, and then back to both hotels after the reception.
