As many of you know, Madison worked as a bartender at the VFW Post 4848. One night Cameron was asked by a friend to go throw darts at the VFW with him, so Cameron went to the VFW for the first time. That night while Madison was working, an extremely handsome and well mannered man came up to the bar to ask for a Dr Pepper. When he walked up Madison instantly thought he was cute and said “What can I get for you handsome?” Cameron instantly fell for her and continues to say that he has been stuck since she said those words to him. They did not speak past Cameron ordering and Madison serving though, until a few nights later. Madison was working the bar and Cameron came to throw darts once again, but this night Madison didn’t have anyone to stay with her when she was closing down the bar, which she never felt comfortable closing down by herself. Because of this, she asked Cameron (the last man that was there) to stay with her while she closed down. They talked well past the time that Madison was done closing down the bar and found they had a lot in common and they became best friends talking every day. Madison had no clue that Cameron was interested in being more than friends, and Cameron didn’t know that Madison was getting a crush on him throughout their friendship, until one night when a hug between friends became more with their first kiss, which is when Madison felt herself falling in love with him. Exactly one month later, Cameron asked Madison to be his girlfriend when they were standing in an Ingles parking lot. This may not be the most romantic place but it felt like a whirlwind of romance between the two of them. Throughout the relationship their love for one another continuously grew. Though there were struggles, they continued to come out stronger together every time. On December 22nd of 2023, Cameron took Madison to see Christmas lights because he knew she loved them and how beautiful they are. After looking at all the beautiful lights, he walked her down to one of his favorite historical places in Ringgold, the Depot and asked his cousin take some cute winter time pictures of the two of them. Once the pictures were taken, he dropped down on one knee with a ring and asked Madison to become his wife. She very quietly (due to shock) shook her head yes with the biggest smile on her face, and cried with joy. They are extremely excited to spend the rest of their lives together and celebrate the joining of families with you all on September 20th, 2025.
