My name is Marie DeBose and I have known B for about a year. Although the groom and my husband are first cousins, they have more of a brotherly bond and spend a lot of time together. With that being the case, James told us about B. We knew he was falling hard for her because of how excited he would get when talking about her. When B came to Mobile and I met her in person for the first time, I noticed a beautiful, reserved woman with a warm, inviting smile. After talking with her, I learned that she was pioneering in her congregation and an elementary school teacher on top of raising her handsome son. I was truly impressed The more B and I spent time together and talked made me realize that the reserved demeanor that I initially picked up on reflected the depths of how focused she is. Her love for Jehovah, her nurturing spirit as a mother, her intelligence, and her generosity have all lead to a life with so many levels of responsibility. And I must say that this gorgeous woman handles them well! But upon us meeting, it only took a few minutes for that “reserve” to fly away and she and I were laughing and talking about everything! She is truly a joy, an asset and a blessing. I am so happy that she and James found true love within one another. I look forward to having her and Declan in Mobile, for family beach days and cookouts. And I really look forward to her and James starting their forever journey! #StandingOnBivens
