Mount Washington is a quaint little neighborhood that happens to have (arguably) the best views in town. Fun fact: I used to live up here and it's also where Adam and I met. Highly recommend paying the overlook a visit at sunrise or sunset.
Adam's home away from home, and my favorite spot in the city. Goes hand in hand with a trip to the overlook. Best known for their delicious food, hand-crafted cocktails, and late night fun.
Contemporary art that will keep you on your toes. This is hands down one of the coolest museums in the country. PS...it's in your best interest to make a stop at Randyland (just a block up the street) while you're here.
A beautiful park for a walk or run, and the same park where Adam proposed! Pay homage to Mac Miller by visiting the ever-mentioned Blue Slide Playground. Speaking of...there's a huge mural dedicated to Mac on Paulson Ave just a few blocks from your hotel.
Cute BYOB spot for pizza.
Quick and easy spot to grab killer chicken sandwiches and boozy slushies.
That's right, in the very spot where we're getting hitched lies Whitfield. I should preface this choice by telling you this is the same mouth-watering cuisine you'll be eating at our wedding, but there's no such thing as too much. Order the duck breast...you're welcome.
Suuuuushi.
Dive with cheap yet fantastic bar food.
A Pittsburgh must-see, the meeting of the three rivers. Follow the trail for a scenic tour of the city.
Half cocktail bar, half beer hall.
A daily market that's packed with unique shops, street vendors, and all of the good foods. Stop at Prestogeorge, De Fer, or La Prima for a cup of coffee. Pop in virtually anywhere for a bite to eat. Personal favs include the Bahn Mi stand, a pepperoni roll from Sunseri's, and Andy's Sushi!
