Things To Do

Things to do, people to see. All of the foods, drinks, and iconic Pittsburgh spots we think you'll love. Walking distance from the hotels = *

Grandview Overlook

136-160 Grandview Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15211

Mount Washington is a quaint little neighborhood that happens to have (arguably) the best views in town. Fun fact: I used to live up here and it's also where Adam and I met. Highly recommend paying the overlook a visit at sunrise or sunset.

The Summit

200 Shiloh Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15211
, (412) 918-1647

Adam's home away from home, and my favorite spot in the city. Goes hand in hand with a trip to the overlook. Best known for their delicious food, hand-crafted cocktails, and late night fun.

Mattress Factory Museum

500 Sampsonia Way, Pittsburgh, PA 15212
, (412) 231-3169

Contemporary art that will keep you on your toes. This is hands down one of the coolest museums in the country. PS...it's in your best interest to make a stop at Randyland (just a block up the street) while you're here.

Frick Park

1981 Beechwood Boulevard, Pittsburgh, PA 15217
, (412) 682-7275

A beautiful park for a walk or run, and the same park where Adam proposed! Pay homage to Mac Miller by visiting the ever-mentioned Blue Slide Playground. Speaking of...there's a huge mural dedicated to Mac on Paulson Ave just a few blocks from your hotel.

Pizza Taglio*

126 South Highland Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15206
, (412) 404-7410

Cute BYOB spot for pizza.

Bird On The Run*

128 South Highland Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15206
, (412) 450-8915

Quick and easy spot to grab killer chicken sandwiches and boozy slushies.

Whitfield*

120 South Whitfield Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15206
, (412) 626-3090

That's right, in the very spot where we're getting hitched lies Whitfield. I should preface this choice by telling you this is the same mouth-watering cuisine you'll be eating at our wedding, but there's no such thing as too much. Order the duck breast...you're welcome.

Mola*

6018 Penn Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15206
, (412) 365-6688

Suuuuushi.

Kelly's Bar & Lounge*

6012 Centre Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15206
, (412) 363-6012

Dive with cheap yet fantastic bar food.

Point State Park Fountain

Three Rivers Heritage Trail, Pittsburgh, PA 15222
, (412) 565-2850

A Pittsburgh must-see, the meeting of the three rivers. Follow the trail for a scenic tour of the city.

Lorelei*

124 South Highland Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15206

Half cocktail bar, half beer hall.

Strip District

Penn Ave, Pittsburgh, PA

A daily market that's packed with unique shops, street vendors, and all of the good foods. Stop at Prestogeorge, De Fer, or La Prima for a cup of coffee. Pop in virtually anywhere for a bite to eat. Personal favs include the Bahn Mi stand, a pepperoni roll from Sunseri's, and Andy's Sushi!
