Elkins Resort has access to hundreds of miles of groomed snowmobile trails. Located minutes from two trailheads, the beautiful Selkirk Mountains can be accessed right from your cabin door. Trails weave their way up 7,000-foot snowy mountain peaks and through old-growth forests.

Mt. Spokane isn’t just the region's nonprofit mountain, it’s a collective passion and a beloved skiing area spanning over 1,700 acres with six lifts and 53 fantastic runs.
Schweitzer
With 300" of annual snowfall, Schweitzer's two bowls offer up a wintry mountain playground worth exploring. If you ask a local where they love to ski, you may not find the name on the trail map. While there are 92 named trails on the mountain, some of the best powder stashes and "send it" worthy features can be found in hidden zones found in the trees or past a certain feature. The best part about skiing at Schweitzer is that there's a groomed intermediate trail off of every lift, meaning groups with a variety of ability levels can choose their own adventure and meet back for another lap.
