An enchanting late December night of sushi and Christmas lights with friends brought a Russian bull and a Peruvian princess together for the first time; however, it wasn't until January that they would become inseparable. On a cold January night of 2022, Boris planned a bowling night with Bri, our maid of honor, and Taras, our groomsman. He asked Bri to invite her fun Peruvian friend, Maria, to join. They played for hours, sharing stories, chicken tenders, and laughs. Boris was instantly hooked by Maria's sparkling personality from the very first moment of the night til its end. That night, not only did Boris win at bowling, but he also captured a piece of Maria's heart. They exchanged Instagram handles, and from then on, they never stopped talking.

That bowling night was the beginning of endless phone conversations. They talked about everything and anything. They were very comfortable with each other, exchanging many life stories and their passion for adventure, traveling, fitness, and sweets. Little by little, they realized they had more in common than they could have ever imagined. Their very first date was at Six Flags. That meant an action-packed day of extreme roller coasters, where they learned about each other even more. That day was the first of many adventures together. Unlike other couples, their first dates were weekend gateways where they could explore life and dance together everywhere they went, enjoying all of nature's beauty, and quickly became best friends. They started their weekend trips with Palm Springs, followed by Vegas, Santa Barbara, San Diego, San Jose, Big Bear, and Monterrey. They also visited various National Parks: Sequoia, Kings Canyon, Joshua Tree, Yosemite, and Death Valley (one of their favorites). Their love for traveling took them to Texas, Chicago, Peru, Playa del Carmen, Los Cabos San Lucas, and Bahamas (a dream trip). They also share a passion for music. They love concerts, festivals, and dancing. This led them to Vegas' Life is Beautiful and Miami's Ultra Music Festival. Their love for making and capturing moments sparked joy in their lives and brought them closer and closer. They couldn't deny their strong connection. In under a year, they became best friends, roommates, partners, and family.

For the first time, Maria's mum & aunt, plus Boris' parents, would meet and celebrate Mother's Day together. Boris seized the opportunity to ask Maria's brother for her hand, design a custom ring, and plan a surprise proposal with a surprise engagement party. 05.13.23 - He proposed The coastal location of Crescent Bay was the place where they opened up about their feelings for each other 1 year ago. Everything they have lived together were more than just fleeting moments of happiness, but genuine love. It was the perfect place to capture the moment, so Boris worked with Juanga's family, his best man Nibras, groomsman Taras, and Maria's maid of honor, Bri, to plan the most beautiful day. Maria and both families were completely surprised. She was so emotional and happy that her family could be part of such a special day. Maria felt the entire day was taken out of a movie. She said YES!

The connection, partnership, and commitment between Boris & Maria are undeniable.
