Our Story
We were first introduced by a mutual friend at a bar in Boston during the last semester of college at Boston University. After a year of long distance (and James selling Steph on California as the place to be with beach and backpacking trips) we were both in Sacramento for James' medical school and Steph's Masters in Business Administration.
Two cats later we moved to Palm Springs for James' emergency medicine residency. As an escape from the desert heat we would visit San Diego and became enchanted, eventually moving after residency. James proposed at the end of 2024 at Sunset Cliffs, which had become one of our favorite places in the city.
Throughout these 9 years, we have loved cooking, travelling, music festivals, exploring the outdoors through backpacking, skiing, scuba diving and most recently by rock climbing. All with our friends, family, and most importantly, each other.
