Wedding Party

Seth Borges

Groom

Seth is the groom, I hope most of you know him or know of him. He's ok.

Jenna Turner

Bride

I am Jenna, the bride. AKA, queen for the day when the wedding gets here. Not that that is different than any other day.

Matthew Geis

Best Man

Matt Geis, what to say? This man broke one of my cardinal rules in college and talked to me on the first day of arguably the hardest class we both had. Little did I know at the time that this smart, talkative, genuine man would end up being one of my best friends. From the countless hours we were delirious on the NAMA team together to the many nights partying we've had, it has always been an adventure. Through thick and thin I trust and know I can count on Matt to give me the advice or help I need. There is no one else I want at my side the day I marry my best friend than the best guy I know.

Demetra Simotas

Maid of Honor

Demi and I met in some random guy's dorm room in college where she shared her bag of gummy worms with me. If sharing candy isn't the start of an impeccable friendship, I don't know what is. College is one of the most fun times, but can also be really hard when you're away from home for the first time and becoming an adult. Demi was my family away from family and we truly experienced life and almost death together (RIP my tonsils). Demi consoled me through my first major loss of a loved one, took care of me when I was sick for an entire year (those pesky tonsils I'm tellin' ya), and loved me through my first heartbreak. It's only fitting that she stand with me to marry the love of my life.

Haley Seeger

Groomswoman

Haley and I have known each other for far too long. She has seen me at my lowest lows and highest highs. Since high school I've followed Haley around and she has been kind enough to be one of my best friends through it all. We share countless memories and friends. There is no way I would have survived post college without Haley helping me navigate and keeping my best interest in mind. Haley and I were roommates for many years and I thank her everyday for putting up with me. She is a true gem and I'm excited to have her by my side.

Daniel Turner

Bridesman

Danny is my (the bride's) brother and I am so excited he agreed to be apart of our day! No one understands you like a sibling, has as many inside jokes, or has endured the same parental embarrassment. Danny has one of the driest senses of humor I have ever experienced and I often wish I was as witty as him. I am so lucky I have an older brother like him to look up to.

Jordan Dunn

Groomsman

I'm going to keep this one short. For those of you who know Jordan you know how crazy this man can be. For those of you who don't know Jordan, he is one of my oldest friends from high school, my college roommate, and above all one of my greatest friends. No matter how much time has passed, I know if I call up Jordan we will revert back to our dumb dorky high school ways, and I wouldn't want it any other way.

Hailey Klemenok

Bridesmaid

Hailey and I have known each other forever. Literally. We grew up in bible school together, her dad gave me guitar lessons, we played softball together, went to all of our high school dances together, we built houses in New Orleans together, walked at high school graduation together, she helped me pick my wedding dress and now she gets to stand with me while I say I do! Hailey and I have been together through middle school crushes, black eyeliner that was way too thick, and holidays away from family. We once spent Thanksgiving running feral through the streets of New Orleans. Hailey is the friend that supports you no matter what. One time in college I was having a bad week so I drove six hours to her college to visit. Just because, no questions asked. And the truest form of love that exists, we share the same insane obsession with Ms. Taylor Allison Swift and experienced her opening weekend of the eras tour together.

Harrison Reilly

Groomsman

Harrison and I met in college through Jordan. He was pretty cool then and when Haley and I moved to Sac, Harrison was moving up here too, so we all decided to live together. We ended up being the three amigos on O St. and had a great time getting to know a new city. Harrison is my go to golf partner, sport enthusiast, and all around great friend. We've done some real dumb things together but Harrison has always been the friend I could count on doing them with. I'm thankful that even though he is getting married a couple months after us, he is taking the time to be by my side.

Dara Radtke

Bridesmaid

Dara was my roommate when I lived in Jacksonville, Florida. You will often hear us calling each other "Zeurg" who is the villain in Toy Story. Dara and I knew each other for a year before we became close, low-key I thought she hated me but we laugh about it now because we literally cry when we reunite. Once we started living together, we bonded quickly over our love of history; it started with the Kennedy's and the floodgates were opened. We are 80 years old at heart and love to visit a good bookstore, a museum, anything with historic interest. We plan our trips together around historic sites. Dara is the most honest person I know and also the most loyal. Having her in your corner means you have a friend for life and she will ride or die for you.

Taylor Quintana

Bridesmaid

I met Taylor through Seth. I was so nervous to drive all the way to the East Bay to meet a huge group of his friends. It's always weird being the one outsider in the group, ya know? But to know Taylor is to know she makes anyone and everyone feel welcome. Taylor is the most genuine, kind, inquisitive person you'll meet and I am so glad Seth brought her into my life. We have only known each other for a few years, but we have already shared so many fun trips and I know there is a lot more to come! Taylor came dress shopping with my mom, Seth's mom, and Hailey and fit in instantly. It was like she and Hailey were already best friends which made me so happy.

John Ellis

Officiant

I (Seth) have known John since middle school. He is one of my oldest and best friends. John knows all of the wrong things about me and Jenna which makes him perfect for this role. John was eager to meet Jenna early on and I'm so thankful that he accepted her into our group of friends with open arms. He is the goofiest of goofballs, king of the degenerates, and one of the most loving people we know. We are lucky and honored to have him officiating for us.

Tyler Nolan

Liquor Lad

Tyler is one of our degenerate friends. He is a kind hearted, funny, and a true friend. He is always a good time and was eager to say yes to this opportunity. If you are lucky, you'll catch one of the shooters he is tossing down the aisle!

Johnny Turner

Father of the Bride

To know Johnny Turner is to love Johnny Turner. My dad retired from being a Police Officer the summer before I started first grade, which means I essentially got a stay at home dad for my entire childhood. He helped coach my volleyball, softball, and golf teams which as you can imagine brought us incredibly close (though there were some contentious times). He drove me to and from college every year, which was a fourteen hour drive, so bless his sweet soul. He also drove me to and from Florida when I decided to move there after college. We have spent a lot of time together driving cars and driving golf balls and I am so happy that my dad is also one of my very best friends. Some of you may know the past few years have been a bit tough on him physically so I cannot wait for him to walk me down the aisle, even if I have to hold him up to do it!

Leslie Turner

Mother of the Bride

I am my mother's daughter, and if you know one or both of us, that says a lot. This woman gave me my love of travel, especially the philosophy of "it doesn't matter where, I just want to go". She gave me my carefree attitude and the confidence to be myself regardless of what is the norm. When beige was the trend for housing interiors in the early 2000's, every room in our house was painted a different color, because that's what Leslie wanted to do. I think that is the perfect way to describe how she lives her life and inspires me to live mine. Our most constantly uttered phrases are "everyone needs to relax", "it's really not that serious", and "it's time for a cocktail". This woman has truly figured out how to do life right and I'm lucky that I get to call her my mom.

Cindy Borges

Mother of the Groom

My mother Cindy is the textbook definition of unconditional love. No matter the shenanigans or sass or sarcasm I threw at my mom she has loved me through it. Those things also led her to expanding my library of colorful language from an early age. I get my caring, dedicated, and foundation of what it means to love somebody else from my mom. I am incredibly lucky to get to call her mom and thankful that she welcomed Jenna with open arms and as much love as she shows me.

Larry Borges

Father of the Groom

Larry Borges immigrated to this country when he was ten years old. Fast forward a few years and he meets Cindy. Fast forward a few more years and those two lovebirds have their hands full with my brother and I. My father showed me what it meant to be tenacious, caring, and keep a fun outlook on life. I am incredibly lucky to have a father as loving and caring as Larry.
