We are getting married!

Anna and Mason’s story began in 2020 at Maconaquah High School, where they first met in weights class. Before long, Mason made the first move, and what started as a simple connection in class quickly turned into something special. As the world was still uncertain during COVID, the two spent countless hours talking on the phone. Those late-night conversations were filled with laughter, stories, and the kind of connection that made them feel like they had known each other forever. On September 8, 2020, they officially began dating—and from that moment on, they’ve been by each other’s side ever since. Not long after, their relationship turned into a long-distance one. Anna moved to Florida to attend Florida Gulf Coast University. Mason later headed to the University of Evansville in Indiana. Although the distance wasn’t always easy, it only strengthened their relationship. They made it work through visits whenever they could, long FaceTime calls, and the excitement of counting down the days until they could see each other again. Through it all, their trust, friendship, and love for one another kept them close no matter how far apart they were. Over the years, their relationship was built in the little moments—long car rides, dinner dates, endless laughter, and simply enjoying being together. Somewhere along the way, they realized they had truly found their best friend in each other. Mason made their love story even more special when he proposed at the Ritz-Carlton in Naples, Florida, in front of the beautiful fountain, surrounded by Anna’s family and friends. Anna had no idea it was coming, which made the moment even more unforgettable. Today, Anna and Mason are most excited about beginning this next chapter together—marrying their best friend and building a beautiful life side by side.
