Question

What is the Dress Code?

Answer

We ask that guests please avoid wearing any denim, as well as the colors white, any neutral cream/beige tones, or baby blue (with the exception of white dress shirts for men). All three of our celebrations will be held outdoors, so shorter block heel styles are recommend to avoid sinking into grass. - Our West Virginia & Louisiana ceremonies will require a cocktail/formal dress code. We suggest men wear a suit and tie, and women wear formal midi or knee-length dresses. We can't wait to see everyone all dressed up! For our NYC guests, we will opt for dressy casual attire! We want you to be extra comfortable for our dinner picnic, and suggest women wear sundresses or lightweight separates, and men go for a light dress shirt with khakis or other lightweight slacks. Jackets and ties optional.

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

For our West Virginia ceremony & reception, we politely request that all attendees be over the age of 18, with the exception of the wedding party's immediate family; i.e. siblings. Let's have a date night together! - For those attending celebrations in NYC or Louisiana, children will be included when you RSVP!

Question

May I bring a plus-one?

Answer

To keep our celebrations small & intimate, we are unable to accommodate plus-ones beyond those named when you RSVP. We hope you understand our decision, and we can't wait to see you!

Question

May I take photos or film the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, except for our WV ceremony! We’ve asked a professional photographer to capture our ceremony via photo so that we can soak in the moment with all of you- their work will be shared with all guests after the wedding! And of course, we would love to avoid an array of iPhones taking over their photos. - After the ceremony, we welcome you to capture as much as you'd like- we will also be utilizing a shared photo album app, where all guests can upload the moments they collect! Details will be provided at each celebration.

Question

May I share the wedding on social media?

Answer

Of course! We worked very hard on all of the details, and can't wait to see what catches your eye- all we ask is to please avoid posting any photo/video content of the bride, groom or wedding party until they are able to themselves.
