Beneath the stars and northern lights, with the full moon shining, Nick took Dani to the top of Ester Dome. He told her they were just setting off fireworks to celebrate the New Year. When midnight came, they kissed. Then, they stepped into the cold night, and Nick nervously prepared to ask Dani something important. After a few improvised words about their relationship so far, Nick got down on one knee and took out a small box from his pocket. When he opened it, in the dim moonlight, all that was visible were bright tiny sparkles—so many sparkles.✨ Dani—of course—said “yes,” with a big smile that could probably be seen from space. They shared another kiss, then set off a stunning fireworks display as they welcomed the new year and the promise of a lifetime together.
