At 841! Jess was bartending and Cody came in after a basketball game. Cody was too shy to say anything, but asked Lucas who she was later. After a little bit of social media stalking on Cody's part, Jess and Cody started talking. Jess kept asking Cody to come to Whitewater for her 21st birthday, but Cody decided not to make the trip (lame). After Cody bailed on Jess's birthday, Cody decided it was time to go on an actual date. They went to see the movie Blockers, had to sit in the very front row, and didn't say more than 5 words to each other all night. They parted ways and somehow decided that even though that wasn't the greatest first date, they definitely deserved another chance, and the rest is history!
