Let's do the dang thing!

Our first dated ended with a hike at Narrows of the Harpeth to watch the sunrise and every year on our anniversary we do the same hike to watch the sunrise. This year was by far our best sunrise, we got to the top just as the sun was cresting the horizon! While Alexis was looking at the view, behind her Jared was getting down on one knee (which Alexis later had to help him up, thanks torn meniscus) and asked the all important question! And since we are now planning a wedding, we know what Alexis' s answer was. After we hiked back down Jared drove to downtown Franklin and surprised Alexis by going to our favorite taproom, Hop House Tennessee Taps, where the owner was there to give us our first drink as an engaged couple!
