We are so excited to celebrate with you all! Planning this wedding, we spent a lot of time trying to figure out what elements of a traditional wedding we wanted to embrace, and what didn't feel like "us". At the end of the day, what's most important is all of you being there to mark this occasion, in a place that means so much to us. Over the course of our relationship, we've lived all over: Vermont, Colorado, North Carolina, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island. We've had wonderful adventures and made lifelong friendships, but we're ready to settle down. We've been dreaming of a move to Maine for a while now, but it was always a "someday" thing - until recently. All signs point to a move to Portland after Jacob finishes at Brown, just in time for Hannah to start law school. We're thrilled to be making things official and celebrating our relationship with you all, in the city we look forward to calling home very soon. See you there!

We're doing things a little differently! We'll be "eloping" just the two of us at City Hall in Portland, in lieu of a formal ceremony.

Garden/cocktail attire

Post-City Hall, we'll meet you at Maine Beer Co (just up the road from Portland in Freeport) for a reception! We're reserving the outdoor beer garden (with the option to move inside in case of inclement weather). Bring your appetites: there will be light apps, oysters, salads, charcuterie, and flatbread pizza (GF and vegan options too!). Guests will have access to the full bar inside; offerings include craft beer and cocktails, wine, and various NA options.
