Getting There

Château du Doux is located in the Dordogne valley in the Corrèze region of France. We recommend guests traveling from the United States first fly into Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) or London Heathrow (LHR) on 8/26 or 8/27 before making your way to Dordogne. Colorado-based friends and family, here are some non-stop flight options to get to Europe: Flight AF631/DL8282 - DEN-CDG on 8/24 or 8/26 Flight BA218 - DEN-LHR on 8/26 or 8/27 Flight UA262 - DEN-LHR on 8/26 or 8/27 *Boone and Lauren will be flying from DEN-CDG on 8/24 on DL8282.

Check-in: Friday, August 29, 2025 at 4:00pm Check-out: Monday, September 1, 2025 at 11:00am Most of our guests will stay at the magical Château du Doux, a family-owned château in the Dordogne Valley, and this is where all wedding events will take place. The château sleeps 70 people, and we have reserved the entire property for our guests.

Train

Option 1: Train to/from Paris

The nearest train station to the Château is Brive-la-Gaillarde (40 mins away). You can take a train from Paris to Brive (~4hr30). They run multiple times a day! Take Intercités train from Paris Austerlitz to Brive-la-Gaillarde on Thursday 8/28 or Friday 8/29: Departure: 7:24 AM Arrival: 12:03 PM Departure: 8:24 AM Arrival: 1:00 PM Take Intercités train from Brive-la-Gaillarde to Paris Austerlitz on Monday, 9/1. Departure: 1:57 PM Arrival: 6:38 PM We have organized round-trip shuttle service for guests traveling to and from the Brive train station. On Friday, the shuttle will depart Brive-la-Gaillard at 3:00 PM. On Monday, the shuttle will depart Chateau du Doux to go back to Brive-la-Gaillard at 11:15 AM. *Note: European trains are efficient and cost-effective. Fly from Paris Orly Airport (ORY) to Brive–Souillac Airport (BVE) on Thursday 8/28 or Friday 8/29: Chalair Flight CE1932 - Departure ORY: 9:05 AM Arrival BVE: 10:20 AM *Note: This option requires an airport transfer between CDG and ORY. Consider a layover in Paris if choosing this route.

Fly from London Stansted Airport (STN) to Brive–Souillac Airport (BVE) on Thursday 8/28 or Friday 8/29: Ryanair Flight FR7963 - Depart STN: 1:05 PM Arrive BVE: 3:50 PM *Note: This option requires an airport transfer between LHR and STN. A layover in London could be a delightful addition.
