For out-of-town guests, RDU is the nearest airport. It is approximately 15 minutes from Downtown Durham and 30 minutes from our venue.

Shuttle

Wedding Transportation to Sunnyside at Baldwin Farms

September 20, 2025 3:15 pm - 10:30 pm

A free shuttle will be available to guests staying at Aloft Durham Downtown hotel. The shuttle will pick up guests from the hotel and depart promptly at 3:15pm (please get downstairs between 3:00-3:15pm) to transport guests to the ceremony. Following the reception, the shuttle will make trips back to the hotel at 9:00pm and 10:00pm. Please meet the shuttle at the road by the entrance to the loop at Sunnyside.

The hotel rate is $195/night, and rooms are blocked until August 20th. Please use the "view" link to book your room. This is the only hotel that will have shuttle service to the wedding venue and is conveniently located in downtown Durham within walking distance of the Welcome Social.

The hotel rate is $125/night for a king or $130/night for double beds. Rooms are blocked until August 18th. Please use the "view" link to book your room. This hotel is located closest to the venue (10 miles), but unfortunately, there are no shops or restaurants within walking distance.

The hotel rate is $134/night, and rooms are blocked until August 29th. Please use the "view" link to book your room. This hotel is situated between Durham and Chapel Hill, with several restaurants within walking distance.

Uber & Lyft

Please be aware there are limited Uber and Lyft rides to the wedding venue. We kindly ask you to plan your transportation accordingly whether driving, renting a car, or taking the shuttle service from Aloft.
