Please arrive between 2:15 and 2:30, the ceremony will begin shortly after.
Onsite parking will be available.
After the ceremony, the Bride and Groom will depart for a honeymoon tractor ride around the farm. Guests will be invited to make their way to the reception area for cocktail hour, hors d’oeuvres, games, and access to the rest of the farm’s activities and entertainment. Dinner will be served at 6pm.
DJ and bartending will conclude at 10 pm, and we are allowed to stay until 11:30pm. Cars are welcome to stay overnight.
Please RSVP by September 26th.
If you plan to stay in the area overnight, please book your stay sooner rather than later. Unfortunately, Michigan State University Homecoming will be going on at the same time as our wedding so many hotels and housing options are filling up.
We have a hotel block available through Courtyard Lansing. Please find the details on making a reservation under the Travel tab on the website. Be aware that due to Michigan State University's Homecoming weekend, we have a starting block of 10 rooms. Additional rooms will be provided based on demand and available space that weekend.
That's okay! Guests are welcome to stay as long as is comfortable for them, and our venue is fairly centrally located amongst our family and friends who will be in attendance. There are no formal events planned for the day after.
We have a limited guest list for a more intimate gathering with family and friends. When you RSVP through the website you will be informed if you have a plus one.
Kids are welcome! A main attraction of the venue is its large petting zoo and play area which will be available during the reception.
Dress code is requested to be Sunday Best to Cocktail Hour. Comfortable shoes are recommended both for dancing and touring the farm.
Our ceremony will be held outdoors with the reception that follows using an indoor-outdoor space. In the event of rain, the ceremony will be moved indoors at the same location.
Dinner will be served buffet style and is a country themed meal. Dinner will include BBQ Chicken, Pulled Pork, Mac & Cheese bar, Baked Beans, Red Skin Potatoes, Mixed Vegetables, Coleslaw, Cornbread, and Salad with house dressing & Rolls. Vegetarian and Vegan options are available as part of your RSVP.
There will be an open bar on site offering beer, wine, and a selection of non-alcoholic beverages. Our venue does not permit outside alcoholic beverages.
We are asking our guests to refrain from taking photos during the ceremony. We will have a professional photographer onsite and hope you will focus on enjoying the time spent with friends and family, old and new.
We ask that you refrain from posting photos of the wedding to social media. When the professional photos of the evening are available, we will make them available through this website. The Bride will be taking the Groom's last name “Wingard”.
No.
Your attendance is our gift. We have a registry available but there is no expectation of any gift to be made.
Please be aware that Michigan State University is hosting its Homecoming week at the same time as our wedding. Please do not wait until the last minute to seek out lodging and accommodations. Also keep in mind that the venue is a working farm open to fall tours- there will be other members of the public in and around the farm but they will be kept separate from the ceremony and reception area. The farm closes to the public around 5-6pm.
