Meghan started working at the Costco where I worked. When I first saw her she was working in the Food Court and I thought she was just the cutest. When I told the guys out in the tireshop about this cute girl in food court we gave her the nickname "chickenbake" (my favorite item on the menu). We went over to a mutual friends house and when a friend had asked me what sort of girls I was into, I said "girls like Meghan" (pretty smooth, I know!) After asking a couple times for her to go out with me she finally said yes! For our first date I took her on a hike to Dinkey Creek...and well after that you couldn't see us apart!
I had always said that if Brandon were to propose it would be perfect to go back to where we had our first date...Dinkey Creek! So come Labor Day Brandon had said that we should go on a hike to Dinkey Creek (hmmmm interesting) From the moment of us getting ready for the hike to the proposal I must have said 10 smart-ass comments about him proposing, but when it came to it I had absolutely no idea! He had me turning away for a picture and when he asked me to turn around he was down on one knee asking me to marry him! It was perfect and the whole day was just so "us"! We can't wait to share this next chapter in our lives with all of you! See you in Auberry!
