In an effort to make everyone attending as comfortable as possible we wanted to share with everyone the below precautions and protocols we are observing for the wedding and wedding events should you choose to join us!! - We would love to have everyone attend, but if you're feeling sick or feel like you may have been exposed to COVID-19 we urge you to not attend and we are happy to accept your Love from afar. - If you have the ability to get a COVID-19 test prior to attending we are encouraging guests to get tested before attending. - The wedding and reception venue is a large outdoor facility that is able to handle 1000 people. All events at the wedding venue will be outside. The current city restrictions do not allow more than 50% of capacity and we will be dramatically below that. - The wedding ceremony and reception seating will be organized to maximize proper social distancing. - We ask all guests to wear a mask during the ceremony and whenever you're in close contact with other guests during the reception. While eating or drinking we ask you maintain social distance. - Hand sanitizer stations will be available throughout the venue. - At the end of the wedding ceremony, please remain in your seats till the ushers release you to avoid congestion while moving to the reception area. - All food and drink will only be served by masked and gloved servers and no one is allowed to pick up food on their own. - If you're staying at the Sonesta hotel, please see the Travel Page for the precautions they are observing. We realize this may be one of the most unusual weddings that you may attend, but we will continue to make it as safe and memorable as possible!
Due to COVID-19, we’ve decided to postpone our wedding. We hope you’ll join us at our new date — you can RSVP anytime on our site. All accommodations and plans remain the same at our new date. Please check the Travel Section of our website for new room blocks at the hotels. Wishing you all health and safety, and looking forward to celebrating together!
As you all probably know the future Mr. and Mrs. Boone are both Lebanese, and it just so happens that our story begins February 2017 at the Lebanese Convention in Oklahoma City. For those of you that haven’t had the pleasure of attending one of these events, think match.com if it was run by your grandmother and her friends. After meeting at the young professional’s bar crawl the first night, the rest of the weekend was spent dabke-ing and getting to know one another. The weekend ended and Alex returned to Austin and Adam went home to Memphis where their relationship grew as they talked on the phone just about every day (yes, young people still know how to call each other.) Adam made the first move and visited Alex in Austin making their relationship *official*. After attending a little over a dozen weddings, countless trips to Austin and Memphis, one surprise trip to Starkville, and Adam moving to Austin, the rest (as they say) is history.
