How do I book into the hotel and is it necessary to stay both Friday and Saturday nights?

Answer

You are able to book your room at Renvyle House Hotel through email or phone. Email: info@renvyle.com Phone: +353 (95) 46 100 We have the hotel blocked out for wedding guests both Friday and Saturday nights at a special wedding rate. We ask guests to stay at the hotel both nights.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Dress code is formal cocktail. No need to wear anything black tie, but we do want this to be more "formal" than business casual. Women - Midi / maxi dress, semi-formal suit / jumpsuit Men - Semi-formal suit, tie optional

Is there transportation provided?

Answer

We will be arranging a bus from Dublin City Centre on Friday, August 30th to Renvyle Hotel as well as a van back to Dublin on Sunday, September 1 for anyone that does not wish to drive. The hotel is about a 3 1/2 hour drive from Dublin. You will be able to confirm or decline the need for this bus in your RSVP on the website.

Are children invited?

Answer

We kindly ask that no children are brought to the welcome drinks on Friday night, or the wedding ceremony and reception on Saturday. The hotel does offer childcare as an option if needed during these times. The event coordinator advised that if this is needed, the hotel can work out a sitter on a case by case basis. Check in is 3pm. Check out is 12pm.

Is Renvyle in the middle of nowhere or can I buy groceries?

Answer

There is a town called Tully nearby that is a 5 minute drive from the hotel. If you forget something or need a treat, this is your best bet.

Notes for the Americans

Answer

A few notes to remember for people traveling from America: - Outlet converters are needed for american plugs. - If you intend to rent a car, you drive on the other side of the road in Ireland! - Automatic cars are rentable, just make sure you specify this when renting.
