Where did it all start you may ask?
Was it a turkey order for Thanksgiving?
Or was it after a summer spent in Maine when Marina returned to her favorite grocery store in Chicago to resupply and was greeted with a boisterous, “Boo Vernon, where the f**k have you been”?
It’s truly hard to know, some say it was a slow build at the Agora butcher counter, some say it was because of the speed at which DMs were slid into (she slid into his contrary to popular belief). But we can confirm it was four hearts on an Instagram post that was the catalyst of this love story.
Some call it a meet cute, but for Boo and the butcher, it was meat cute.
