Tinder brought us together, but it could’ve been church. Imagine my surprise when Jonathan told me he had visited my church a week prior to our first date! Lots of obstacles could have halted our love story, such as when Jonathan gave me his number but then said “I’m working in Shelton, IA where I won’t have phone service” or when Jonathan attempted to walk me to my car after our first date at Coldstone and I said “I’m good- I got it from here.” But God was persistent and kept us on one another’s radar- and we thank Him for that as our love grows every day ❤️
After I had suspected it would happen many times, it happened on a snowy day in South Dakota. We were hiking with Burps on first snowy hike, and we had reached a beautiful overlook. After I snapped pics of the view, I turned around and Jonathan dropped to one knee. He later told me he had forgotten everything he had planned to say and that he was super nervous ❤️ He also said he wanted to use Burpee by clipping the ring to his leash, but he couldn’t finagle it by the time I was done taking pictures 😂 He had been asking God for a right time to propose, and when it started snowing, he knew- it was PERFECT ❄️💕
