Bonny was hanging out with friends in Penny Farthings in the East Village on a hot July night, when she called her friend/co-worker Mary Beckler to come hang out. Mary arrived shortly after the call with her then boyfriend Wade, Bob his twin brother, and their friend Dave Starr. The group hung out for a bit and then headed to SPIN in the Flatiron District for the rest of the evening. Bob and Bonny had their first date on Tuesday the 22nd and the rest is history.
It was just an average Tuesday, as Bonny headed into work like it was a normal day in the office. What she didn't know was Bob was running around plotting and planning the evening. That night she walked in the door and said "hi honey!" as she made her way into the apartment. Bob stood up and greeted her like he always does, they exchanged a kiss hello, and Bob said there was something on the counter for her. Thinking "oh great more mail," Bonny gave a quick glance to the counter and noticed there was an amazing floral arrangement on the counter with a note next to it saying something. At that moment, totally caught off guard, Bob proposed and got down on one knee. Without hesitation the answer was "YES, a thousand times YES!" The note said Will you Marry Me? That average Tuesday turned into the best Tuesday of our lives.
If you haven't noticed we love a Tuesday! So what better day to get married but on a Tuesday. We officially tied the knot on July 21, 2020 on Pier A in Hoboken with the Manhattan skyline behind us. It was a beautiful day that we will remember forever. We cant wait to celebrate with everyone in April.
